As we prepare to gather around the table next week, sometimes gratitude leading up to Thanksgiving can be that of a quick sweep of "thankfulness" until we're too burnt out to do any more.
But I often wonder what our Thanksgiving week would look like if we started a gratitude practice early, and truly prepare, like we do when we want to win an athletic competition or provide a delicious gourmet Thanksgiving dinner.
Where do we start? Science shows to cultivate a new habit, it's optimal to start in the morning, or just to set a time each day. Also, consider partnering with another person to help hold you accountable, just like starting a new fitness routine.
